Our goal is to ensure that every adolescent has the combined benefits of effective sexuality education, family and community support, and healthcare needed to avoid teen and unplanned pregnancy and become a healthy adult.

Elizabeth Hundley Finley

Elizabeth is APPCNC’s Director of Strategic Communications. She was an HIV peer educator when North Carolina passed its old abstinence-only-until-marriage law, but that didn’t keep her from talking about condoms in the classroom: “Oops! I didn’t know there was a new law…” (And on to the next class.) Since then, she studied political communications, did a little campaign work, and has worked for some of North Carolina’s best children’s advocacy organizations.
